Description

Our Andrew Jackson brogues for men are a traditional brogue with character and class - a fitting accolade to the man from Carrickfergus who would be President! Made exclusively for us by Barker, one of the world's finest shoemakers, you can be sure that only the best materials go into these shoes to ensure they’re of the highest calibre. The Andrew Jackson men’s brogues are a real conversation piece, and the Goodyear welted soles, supple calf leather and meticulous craftsmanship means that you'll be wearing them for years to come. Hand-finished to the highest detail in burnished calf leather, you can be sure that you’re wearing the best. They are made in three width fittings to ensure that you have the most comfortable fit and ideal for styling with jeans for a more casual look or with a sharp suit. For these brogues, we offer fitting advice to ensure that you get a correct fit. Contact us via e-mail or over the phone.

Made in three different colours and with width fittings in 'F', 'G' and 'H' there is an Andrew Jackson to suit all tastes and fittings. The shoe is a traditional Irish Brogue in the truest sense, with the brogueing running the full length of the shoe, double leather sole with a Goodyear Stormwelt. The last is generous in all three width fittings and we encourage new customers to seek fitting advice from us before purchase. Our worldwide customers have come back to us with details of the complements that they have received on the appearance of their Andrew Jackson Irish Brogues.

Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States. Based in frontier Tennessee, Jackson was a politician and army general who defeated the Creek Indians at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend, and the British at the Battle of New Orleans. Jackson was born on March 15, 1767. Jackson's father was born in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, in current-day Northern Ireland, around 1738. Jackson's parents lived in the village of Boneybefore, also in County Antrim.
